Man dies after car flips several times on US 90 in Gulfport, police say
Gulfport police are investigating the death of a man whose car overturned at U.S. 90 and Thorton Avenue early Friday morning.
The 37-year-old man who died has been identified, but his name is not yet being released, pending notification of his family by the coroner’s office..
The accident happened around 2 a.m., when a 2005 Honda Accord was eastbound on U.S. 90.
Police said the man struck a curb, causing the car to flip several times.
The crash remains under investigation by the Gulfport Police Department Traffic Division.
