Two people hospitalized after Harrison County wreck, officials say
Two people are in the hospital after a two-vehicle wreck that shut down Canal Road Thursday afternoon.
The victims sustained non-life threatening injuries after an SUV and a truck collided almost head-on, according to Harrison County Fire Marshal Pat Sullivan.
Sullivan said with the recent weather, the Mississippi Gulf Coast has seen a number of accidents due to slick roads. Officials ask drivers to slow down and use extra caution while driving.
