Driver removed from vehicle after morning rollover accident
Emergency response crews had to extricate a driver after his vehicle rolled over in a Sunday morning accident.
The driver was eastbound, according to Pat Sullivan Harrison County fire marshal, when his pickup truck left U.S. 53 and rolled over at least once.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol worked the accident, which was reported shortly after 7 a.m.
Fire units from the Harrison County Fire Service and Lizana Fire Department used extrication tools to open the truck and get the driver out, Sullivan said. The driver was taken to the hospital by American Medical Response.
