Never seen a Ferrari except in a movie?

Saturday’s your chance to see those exotic cars and supercars of all types as Gulfport Octane presents vehicles on display for free public viewing.

Gulfport Octane runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and some downtown streets will close starting at 5 a.m.

Streets south of Railroad Street will close between 28th Avenue to U.S. 49. Police will block off 26th Avenue, 14th Avenue and neighboring streets for a pedestrian street party.

Gulfport officials have said the display of cars is a good way to bring people together in the downtown area.

The Gulfport Police Department is sponsoring the car show along with Vinnie’s Exotics of Baton Rouge, Gulf Coast Exotic Auto of Biloxi and Gulfport Main Street.
