Police are asking for the public’s help to find a Louisiana woman who disappeared the day her car was found abandoned on Interstate 10 in D’Iberville.

Linda Thompson, 67, was last seen Friday at her Baton Rouge home, D’Iberville Police Lt. Jason King said.

Her 2005 Lexus, a beige/gold color, was found on the roadside on Interstate 10 later Friday on the eastbound side at the 45 mile marker, King said.

No one has been able to contact her since she disappeared, he said.

Thompson is 5-foot-4, weighs about 175 pounds and has blonde hair and green eyes.

D’Iberville police towed her vehicle and obtained a search warrant at the request of Baton Rouge police, King said. Police found nothing unusual in the car, he said.

To give a tip, call the D’Iberville Police Department at 228-396-4252, the Baton Rouge Police Department at 225-389-8617, or your local law enforcement agency.
