A helicopter was on scene at a three-vehicle wreck on U.S. 90 in Biloxi Tuesday night.

Biloxi police Lt. Christopher De Back said the wreck occurred in the westbound lanes of U.S. 90 near Gateway Drive. The area is just east of Debuys Road.

Westbound lanes of U.S. 90 will be blocked in that area until officials can clear the roadway.

Police, fire, and medical officials were all on scene.

American Medical Response members were giving chest compressions to one person near one of the wrecked vehicles.

A Toyota Camry with severe front end damage was stopped on U.S. 90.

A third vehicle with severe damage was on the service road.

It’s not clear if anyone was transported to a hospital in the helicopter. At least one person was taken from the scene in an ambulance.

De Back said police have not yet released how many people were involved or what injuries were sustained in the wreck.
