Fire breaks out Sunday morning at popular Biloxi restaurant
Fire hit popular Kim Long Restaurant on Division Street in Biloxi on Sunday morning, causing moderate damage to the dining room, Fire Chief Joe Boney said.
Boney said an emergency call about the fire came in around 9 a.m. Sunday. Firefighters, he said, “put the fire out pretty quickly.”
He said the fire was confined to the dining room, where it started. He expects the Vietnamese restaurant will be at least temporarily closed because damage was bad enough that the power had to be shut off.
The Fire Department is investigating the cause of the blaze. Boney said most of the damage was from water. He said five units responded to the fire.
