Person hit by car in Wal-Mart parking lot

One person was hit by a car Saturday in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Supercenter.

Police Chief Tim Hendricks said the person who was hit complained of pain and was taken to a hospital.

Hendricks said the supervisor on the scene reported the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

The accident is under investigation.
