Wine not? Get a bottle to go at Mississippi Coast restaurants during coronavirus outbreak
Mississippi Alcoholic Beverage Control has further loosened its rules to help restaurants struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.
Restaurants with liquor licenses can now sell a sealed bottle of wine with to-go orders. Mixed drinks are not allowed.
Only a single bottle of wine sealed in a bag with a receipt is permitted, ABC said on Facebook.
Previously, the agency allowed “doggie bags” of unfinished bottles of wine bought during a meal to be taken to go.
The state agency made the decision Thursday, after Wednesday allowing liquor stores to offer curbside service.
