5 new coronavirus cases reported on the Coast as state total multiplies. Here’s a list.

Thirteen new cases of COVID-19 were announced by the Mississippi State Department of Health on Wednesday morning, with four of those cases being in Coastal counties.
The health department said there are three new cases in Harrison County and one new case in Hancock County. Additionally, two new cases were reported in Pearl River County.
The Coast also has its first hospitalized COVID-19 patient, at Merit Health in Biloxi. Most of the Mississippi cases so far have been self-quarantined.
The state total has risen to 34 new coronavirus cases. Hinds County has six confirmed cases, the most COVID-19 cases by county as of Wednesday.
There have been 513 Mississippians tested so far, the health department said.
The new report doesn’t list a positive case announced by Singing River Health Systems on Wednesday morning. The health department numbers reflect where the person who test positive lives, not where they were tested.
