Latest MS Coast casino jackpot is one of the largest of the year — and it wasn’t on slots
One of the biggest jackpots of the year at South Mississippi casinos hit not on the slots, but on a table game.
Kenneth (no last name provided), a resident of Louisiana, was playing Sunday at IP Casino Resort in Biloxi.
He was playing Pai Gow Poker progressive and wagered $1.
When revealing his lucky hand, he showed a seven-card straight flush from 3 to 9 of spades, with a Joker serving as the 7 of spades. That was good for a $319,348 payout.
This is the third jackpot of $100,000 or more at IP Casino since June. It’s the 16th jackpot at Biloxi area casinos in 10 months.

Oct. 8 — YouTube celebrity Jason Jensen, Better known as “Greatness Reinvented,” won a $146,250 jackpot at Beau Rivage Casino Resort in Biloxi after he fled Hurricane Milton in Florida. He hit the jackpot a high limit Dragon Link slot around 7 a.m.
Friday, Sept. 13 — A Mississippi resident had a lucky day at IP Casino Resort in Biloxi, winning a $126,555. player hit a $100,000 plus jackpot while playing the Dollar Storm slot machine by Aristocrat Gaming. The person placed a $7.50 bet.
Aug. 30 — An anonymous player won $100,000 playing a top Dollar at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, the sixth jackpot at the year at the casino. The winner had been playing for an hour on the $100 denomination game and bet $200 that spin.
July 31 — A player from Alabaster, Alabama, who asked to remain anonymous, won $160,000 on the $100 Pinball slot machine. at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi. The person started playing just two minutes earlier and played four games when the jackpot hit. The bet was $200.

July 21 — A person from Orange Beach, Alabama, hit the jackpot at the Beau Rivage Casino for $205,163.61 while playing an Aristocrat Mo’ Mummy slot machine at 2:28 a.m. with a bet of $11.25.
June 28 — Three slot jackpots hit on the same day at Scarlet Pearl Casino in D’Iberville:

June 18 — Duane, no last name provided, from Illinois, won a $162,868.67 jackpot at IP Casino Biloxi on a $5 bet on Dollar Storm Caribbean Gold slot game by Aristocrat Gaming
June 13 — An unidentified player won $160,000 at Hard Rock Casino Biloxi in the casino’s high limits room. The player bet $200 on the spin on the Double Diamond Deluxe slot machine and won the jackpot.
April 27 — an unidentified player won big with a $1,217,921.02 jackpot at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino playing a $1 Dragon Link game with a $25 minimum bet in the high limits area of the casino.
