Workshop will help with financial planning

Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast will present a free Financial Foundations workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Habitat offices, 2214 34th St., Gulfport.

The interactive two-hour course will address each person’s emotional relationship with money and call on them to take immediate action to improve their financial future. It also will highlight the importance of building savings, developing a spending plan and reducing debt. Attendees will have access to free one-on-one coaching.
