Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula graduates 51 apprentices

Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula hosted a ceremony last week for 51 graduates of the company’s apprentice program.

The graduates represent several classes of shipyard trades. Ingalls Shipbuilding President Brian Cuccias told the graduates their future is full of tremendous opportunities.

Since 1952, nearly 5,000 students have graduated from Ingalls Apprentice School. The program offers two- to four-year curriculums. Ingalls teams with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and 60 faculty and staff to deliver 13 apprentice programs and more than 120 courses.
