In an effort to not disrupt business at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center, the Commission announced it will not allow anyone to play the Pokemon Go game on property.

The object of the popular Pokemon Go mobile game is to track and find Pokémon characters and train them at “gyms.” There are “Poke Stops” around the community, giving players free items for use in the game.

The Coliseum and Convention Center has three of the “Poke Stops” and two gyms inside and outside of the property.

If you find out your property is a Poke Stop or a Poke gym (and you don’t play), follow directions at this website.
