Singing River Health System announced four key leadership appointments: Susan Russell, chief nursing officer; Lee Bond, chief operating officer; Brian Argo, chief financial officer; and Melissa Baria DiFatta, general counsel.
Cynthia Simms joined Hollywood Casino and Boomtown Casino as vice president of Human Resources. She brings more than 30 years of experience to the position.
April LaFontaine joined Memorial Hospital in Gulfport as vice president of Revenue Cycle Services. LaFontaine earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration and her board certification from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Mississippi Main Street Association’s new officers include two Gulfport professionals: Allison Beasley, Southern Mississippi Planning and Development, was named president-elect, and Mark Loughman, Mississippi Power Co., was named past president.
Tiffany Dymond, realtor with Owen & Co. Real Estate in Gulfport, earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representation designation from the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.
Kaila Moran of Gulfport joined Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce Inc. as the programming coordinator. Moran earned her Bachelor of Arts in communication studies from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Dr. Rebecca Rose joined Memorial Physicians Clinics in the practice of family medicine at 1756 Popp’s Ferry Road, Biloxi. Rose earned her medical degree from University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Jether Farino joined the medical staff of Merit Health Biloxi and will practicing at Merit Health Gulf Oaks. Farino earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
