Whataburger brings back popular burger

The Whataburger Sweet & Spicy Bacon Burger is back on the restaurant’s menu for a limited time.

Introduced last summer, the burger features two all-beef patties, bacon, grilled onions, Monterey Jack and American cheese and Whataburger’s Original Mustard plus Whataburger’s Sweet & Spicy Pepper Sauce on a 5-inch toasted bun.

Rich Scheffler, Whataburger vice president of marketing and innovation, said customers have been asking for the burger and its combination of sweet and spicy ingredients.

Whataburger, headquartered in San Antonio, has more than 790 restaurants in 10 states.
