Merit Health Biloxi gives back to community
Merit Health Biloxi on Wednesday made $330,000 in donations to local charitable organizations.
St. Vincent de Paul Pharmacy, which provides prescriptions to people who don't have insurance or can't afford the medicine, received a check for $110,000.
Other recipients and the money they received are Bethesda Free Clinic, $55,250; Back Bay Mission $19,500; Loaves & Fishes, $19,500; Women's Resource Center, $5,500; Mississippi Center for Autism, $50,000; William Carey University School of Pharmacy, $20,000; and $15,000 each to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey nursing programs.
