MS Engineering and Development LLC in Diamondhead has won six contracts totaling $409,000 with one additional $43,000 award pending, according to The Enterprise for Innovative Geospatial Solutions.
The bulk of these contracts are through the Mississippi Department of Transportation. MSED will redesign an intersection in Sunflower County, oversee quality on the Interstate 55 intersection-improvement project, complete the engineering drawings for the hydraulic analysis on the I-55 bridge over Hickahala Creek, prepare right-of-way plans for the bridge replacement over Hogpen Branch and complete the hydraulic analysis/plans for the widening of Interstate 20 through Vicksburg.
MSED also is providing inspection services for the Pineville sewer improvements for Harrison County. Company President Karen Sites also proposed a contract to design school bus stops in Diamondhead and a new sidewalk along Golf Club Drive under the Safeway to Schools Project, which would be funded through MDOT's Transportation Alternatives Program.
MSED is woman-owned and provides engineering, consulting and management services.
