Occupancy permits were issued last week for the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, which opens at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on Popp's Ferry Road in Biloxi, and for Wentzel's Seafood Restaurant on Beach Boulevard on the Biloxi strip.

Wentzel's opened last week, Community Development Director Jerry Creel said in his weekly development report.

Final building plans also were submitted for Big Play Family Fun Center's bowling alley and arcade. The $1 million project will have 12 lanes for bowling, an arcade and a café.

Also last week, the Development Review Committee made minor design revision recommendations for the site plan for the Popp's Ferry Causeway Park.

On Wednesday the DRC will review site plans for a major expansion of Campers World at Interstate 10 and Oaklawn and for a new Doughnut Shop on Shriner's Boulevard.
