The developers of a riverside cafe will go to the Biloxi Planning Commission to ask for a zoning change on property at 12046 Lorraine Road, Community Development Director Jerry Creel said in his weekly report.
Creel said the owners want to convert a building on the property along the Biloxi River to a bar and are requesting a zoning change from RS-10 -- single-family residential to NB -- neighborhood business.
Last week, the Development Review Committee approved a site plan for the addition of 16 units to the Briarfield Apartments at 169 Briarfield Ave., Creel said. This week, the DRC is scheduled to approve the site plan for the proposed Woolmarket Pharmacy at 13034 Shriners Boulevard.
Permits were issued for the new Buckle Store in Edgewater Mall and five new single-family houses, he said.
