Innovation Center plans free small business conference

Small-business owners and those hoping to start a business are invited to attend a free Small Business Resource Conference, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 20 at The Innovation Center, 1636 Popp's Ferry Road, Biloxi.

Participants can meet with area lenders and share experiences and best practices with experienced business owners and resource partners.

Seminars will discuss protecting your intellectual property, funding sources for your company, setting up a company for success and using advertising and social media to build business.

Vendor-display tables are still available.
