The Jackson-George Regional Library System awarded volunteers at its 29th annual Volunteer Reception: Jahkai Garrett of the Pascagoula Public Library and Taylor Coe of the East Central Public Library tied for the Mary Ann Louviere Youth Services Volunteer of the Year Award, and Doris Spicer of the Pascagoula Public Library received the Flora S. Scholtes Volunteer of the Year Award. Honorees received a certificate, door prizes and a luncheon in their honor.

Terrie Price, agent with Coldwell Banker Alfonso Realty in Ocean Springs, earned the Coldwell Banker International President's Elite Designation for 2016, which is an honor that recognizes the top 2 percent of the company's sales associates.

Lance Jones, agent with Farm Bureau Insurance in Gulfport, was named a Sales Leadership Council Member for 2015, a recognition given to less than 4 percent of the company's agents. After being named a council member, Jones attended the 2015 Sales Leadership Council Conference in Jackson.

Harrison County Development Commission employees participated in 403d Wing programs: Bill Hessell, executive director, was inducted into the Air Force Reserve 403d Wing Honorary Commander Program, and Marcia Crawford, director of community development and information, visited Scott Air Force Base in Illinois and Dobbins Air Reserve Base in Marietta, Ga., during the 403d Wing Civic Leader Tour.

Holly Gibbs joined EXIT Magnolia Coast Realty in Gulfport as a real estate agent.
