Biloxi issues permit for Woody's Roadside Grill

BILOXI -- A building permit was issued last week for Woody's Roadside Grill at U.S. 90 and Althea, Biloxi Community Development Director Jerry Creel said in his weekly development report. A site-work permit had been issued to allow the contractor to grade and fill the site.

The city also received building plans for a new sanctuary for Saint Mary's Catholic Church on Woolmarket Road, which will increase the size of the church from 10,000 to 17,000 square feet.

The planning commission approved a conditional-use application to allow an auto dealership at 1749 Pass Road. The application will now go to the City Council for final consideration.

This week, the Development Review Committee will review an application for a proposed RV park with 51 spaces at 2428 Beach Boulevard.

Creel said 61 building permits were issued last week with a valuation of $1.4 million.
