PERSONNEL FILE (March 6)

Dr. Irvin Sherman, dermatologist with the Biloxi VA Medical Center, was named Employee of the Year for 2015. Sherman has been with the Biloxi VA since 2009, and he earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Division of Adams Homes recognized its employees of the year for 2015: Anthony Chatman was named Top Sales Person of the Year for selling and closing on the most homes, and Stacy Hardy was named Construction Superintendent of the Year for having the fastest build times and the most completed homes.

Daryl Bush, independent financial advisor with Platinum Capital Advisors in Biloxi, was designated as a Certified Annuity Specialist by the Institute of Business & Finance. Bush earned the national, graduate-level annuity designation after completing more than 135 hours in an educational program emphasizing both variable and fixed-rate annuities. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in science from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Michael Reso, team member of Security National Life Insurance in New Orleans and a resident of Bay St. Louis, earned the Chartered Life Underwriter professional designation from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa. To earn the designation, Reso completed eight classes and 16 supervised exams over the course of four years.

John Charman joined the South Mississippi Soccer Club as its executive director. In his new role, Charman will oversee the club's administrative duties, business responsibilities, development initiatives and recreational programs.
