Export Camp will teach international marketing

A Small Business Export Camp for first-time exporters or firms considering expanding to a new global market is set for 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. March 3.

The morning session will be at the Hancock Bank main office in Gulfport, then the conference will move to the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport for the afternoon session.

The Innovation Center, in partnership with the U.S. Commercial Service's Mississippi Export Assistance Center and Marine Industries Science and Technology Cluster, designed this program to help small businesses learn the fundamentals for exporting products and services by developing skills in international marketing, trade finance and global logistics.

The cost is $25; mail checks to The Innovation Center, Export Boot Camp, Suite 100, 1636 Popp's Ferry Road, Biloxi MS 39532.
