BILOXI -- A new country nightclub, Whiskey Rose, will open March 4 at IP Casino Resort.

Whiskey Rose will be in Studio B, and will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 8 p.m.

Craig Wayne Boyd, Season 7 winner of the TV singing competition "The Voice," will headline on opening night. His show begins at 9 p.m. and doors open an hour before the show.

After winning "The Voice" as a member of Blake Shelton's team, Boyd has shared the stage with country rockers Brantley Gilbert, Randy Houser and Jamey Johnson. His debut album "Music Row Girl" was produced by Grammy-nominated producer/songwriter Arlis Albritton.

The new country nightclub will feature live country artist performances and video DJs, drinks and dancing.

Tickets for Boyd's show are $10 plus tax and fees. Buy tickets at Essentials Gift shop daily, at the IP box office on show nights from 1 to 9 p.m. and at the door starting at 8 p.m.
