Deadlines approaching for Coast chambers' scholarships

The Chambers of Commerce in Biloxi, Gulfport, Long Beach and Pass Christian are taking scholarship applications from students who live in each area.

The qualifications differ for each chamber and in some cases require an essay and an interview.

The Gulfport scholarship is open to students attending high school at Gulfport, West Harrison or Harrison Central.

The deadlines are March 11 for Long Beach and Pass Christian students, March 21 for Biloxi and March 24 for Gulfport, which includes students attending high school in Gulfport, West Harrison or Harrison Central.
