Krystal introduces happy hour menu

Krystal on U.S. 49 in Gulfport is offering happy hour menu deals from 2-5 p.m. on its most popular items.

The happy hour menu feature a .59 cent Krystal, a .79 cent Krystal with cheese and a .99 cent loaded Krystal with cheese and bacon. Items will be available at all participating restaurant locations, although pricing may vary.

The move comes after research by the brand fielded shows that American dining habits are shifting. Overscheduled adults and children have activities that often call for a late supper, and many people are looking for a mid-afternoon snack to bridge the gap.

"Those hours between work/school time and home time are important for many people," said Jason Abelkop, chief marketing officer for Krystal. "We've seen from our thriving late-night business that meal times are not as rigid as they once were. Often, people just want a quick bite so they can be on their way."

The full Krystal menu also is available during the happy hour window.
