Sponsors sought for family event in Long Beach

The Long Beach Chamber of Commerce is seeking sponsorships for a new event that will let kids and parents get up close to work trucks and other big equipment March 19 during Climb. Explore. Learn. Touch.

The fundraiser will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Long Beach Harbor and admission is $5 per person.

Families will be able touch and explore big trucks and heavy machinery and meet police officers, fire fighters and others who protect and serve.

Proceeds will benefit the chamber's high school scholarship and small business grants
