Hancock Port Commission elects officers
Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission held its first full meeting Jan. 25, after new members were sworn in by Chancery Clerk Tim Kellar.
The four returning members are Robert Kane with John McDonald Realty, who was elected president; Charles Gallagher, retired U.S. Navy captain and Ingalls Shipbuilding engineer, who was elected treasurer; Sherri Carr Bevis, South Mississippi service coordinator for Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann, who was elected secretary; and Rocky Pullman, captain of marine resources at Stennis Space Center.
New commissioners are Jon Ritten Jr. with Coldwell Banker Coast Delta Realty, who was elected vice president; Daryl Cornell, CEO of ATM manufacturer Triton Systems; Paula Jordan, office manager for Jordan Chiropractic Center; and David Malley, contractor and real estate developer.
The commission is charged with leading Hancock County's economic-development efforts.
