The 90th annual membership meeting Friday was a sell-out at Diamondhead Country Club. Trutel-Zeringue said priorities for 2016 will be to continue economic development work with the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission, work on insurance issues and beautification and attracting more talented people and families to live and work in the county.
Katharine Truett Ohman, co-chairman of the Hancock Chamber Beautification Committee, was awarded the 2016 Jody Compretta Person of Passion during the meeting. She was honored for her efforts to improve transportation corridors, water quality and beautification.
