Work ready to begin on new Biloxi Junior High School

The Biloxi School District was issued a site-clearing permit this week to begin site preparation for the new Biloxi Junior High School on Jam Lane, said Jerry Creel, Biloxi Community Development director, in his weekly report.

In his report, Creel also noted the Biloxi Planning Commission held public hearings regarding design standards for subdivision driveways and to improve development regulations concerning wetlands. Both recommendations were approved and will now go to the City Council for a vote.
