Medieval and theater courses added to Tulane's spring semester
The spring semester at Tulane University's School of Continuing Studies' Mississippi Coast campus, which starts Monday, offers new classes for those seeking courses in personal enrichment or entertainment.
The registration deadline for the semester is Jan. 22.
Among the more than 40 classes offered this spring at the new Biloxi campus are courses in Medieval Lives and the Gulf Coast Theater Experience. The two new classes are a result of student feedback.
Robert Kearns will teach Medieval Lives on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 8:10 p.m. The class will focus on one of the Italian medieval history with accounts of leaders, heroes, prophets and villains.
Gulf Coast Theater Experience will meet Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:10 p.m. William Koolsbergen will teach students how to evaluate a performance, and students will attend five area theater rehearsals and productions where they will critique each performance.
