Brian Bolis, senior vice president for multi-family acquisitions and sales at NAI Sawyer in Gulfport, was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by the CCIM Institute, a prestigious designation for commercial real estate professionals.

Sephanie Blocker was promoted to branch manager at Century Bank in Vancleave. Blocker has been with Century Bank for 15 years, and she earned an associate's degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration from William Carey University.

Silver Slipper Casino announced its employees and manager of the month. Debbie Ewing, table games, and Sam Sheppard, buffet, were named Employees of the Month, and Betty Wandell, table games shift manager, was named Supervisor of the Month. Each honoree received gifts and prizes.
