Second Social Supper set for next week

The Social Supper was created to provide a unique experience in a place people have never dined, and the second event will be Thursday inside a military hangar.

Dinner is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Selex Galileo Hangar No. 2 with some U.S. military aircraft.

The cost is $50 per person and dinner will feature local seafood thanks to Department of Marine Resources, local beer from Lazy Magnolia Brewery and local chefs. Money raised will support small business in Mississippi.

On the menu: Oyster patties, salad served with smoked salmon over a crouton, Zydeco shrimp, salmon in a smoky bourbon grill sauce over jambalaya and fresh-baked mini king cakes for dessert

The featured cocktail is red wine sangria.

Louie and the Redhead Lady, who appeared on The Food Network and recently moved to Bay St. Louis to open his 22nd restaurant on Blaize Avenue, will prepare the dinner.
