MDEQ seeking engineering proposals for projects

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality is seeking statements of qualifications from engineering firms licensed in Mississippi to assist with engineering and design services.

The proposals are for the NFWF project, "Utilization of Dredge Material for Marsh Restoration in Coastal Mississippi," and the NRDA early-restoration project, "Restoring Living Shoreline and Reefs in Mississippi Estuaries."

Optional pre-submittal conferences will be at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Holiday Inn Gulfport-Airport, 9515 U.S. 49, Gulfport.
