Gulfport Outlets to host Deer Widows Weekend

While deer hunters hit the woods for hunting season, their families can go bargain hunting this weekend at the nearly 80 stores at Gulfport Premium Outlets.

Friday through Sunday the outlets off U.S. 49 in Gulfport will feature special events and sales above the everyday savings of 25-65 percent.

"Deer Widows Weekend is bargain hunting at its best, and with the holiday shopping season right around the corner, this weekend provides shoppers with the perfect opportunity to take advantage of exceptional sales and savings," says Rhonda Roberts, director of marketing and business development at Gulfport Premium Outlets.

A welcome reception Friday from 5-7 p.m. will be hosted by VF Outlet and participants can register to win gift cards, handbags and other prizes. Shoppers can pick up a Bargain Hunters Shopping Guide at Guest Services near the food court starting each day of the promotion.

The first 100 shoppers in the door each day at Tommy Hilfiger will receive a pair of novelty deer antlers. On Saturday the first 150 people at Under Armour will be handed a "Win Big Bucks" scratch-off card with an chance to win gift cards ranging from between $10 and $100. On Sunday the first 150 people at Polo Ralph Lauren will receive a Deer Widows Weekend gift bag filled with goodies from participating stores and one shopper will win a $200 Under Armour gift card.
