Hancock Bank gets top ratings for 26th year

Hancock Bank has earned top ratings from BauerFinancial Inc., as one of America's strongest, safest financial institutions.

This 5-Star Superior rating, based on the quarter ending June 30, marks the 104th consecutive quarter, or 26 years in a row, in which Hancock has earned BauerFinancial's recommendation. It puts Hancock Bank among the top 20 percent of more than 6,300 rated banks and credit unions.

"Being able to maintain the highest level of financial performance, even in the most difficult of national environments, Hancock Bank was able to stay client focused while others were trying to stay afloat," said Karen Dorway, president of BauerFinancial. The company has been analyzing bank performance since 1983.
