The last chance to submit an idea in Knight Cities Challenge to help Biloxi succeed is at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Winning ideas will get a share of $5 million, with funding granted at all levels from small to large amounts.
An idea can be submitted from anywhere, but the project must take place in or benefit Biloxi or one of the 25 other Knight communities.
The initial application is easy to complete. Submissions should focus on helping cities attract and keep talented people, expanding economic prospects by breaking down divides and on spurring civic involvement.
