AT&T has launched High Definition Voice in Mississippi, giving its VoLTE customers the ability to talk while surfing at ultra-fast 4G LTE speeds.
AT&T said in a press release it has the nation's strongest 4G LTE signal and the new HD Voice provides better overall audio quality and noise cancellation. To experience HD Voice, both callers need to be in an AT&T HD Voice coverage area using an AT&T HD Voice-capable device with HD Voice set up on their AT&T account.
There is no extra charge for HD Voice service, the company said.
AT&T Mississippi President Mayo Flynt said, "As demand for speed, connectivity and enhanced wireless services grows, the launch of HD Voice on our 4G LTE network means our customers no longer have to choose between fast data speeds and crystal clear conversations -- they now get the best of both worlds."
