PRCC business series offers social media tips

Mobile Phones & Your Business, part of the Breakfast & Business Series, will be Oct. 22 at Pearl River Community College -- Hancock Center, 454 U.S. 90, Waveland. Registration is required by Thursday.

Breakfast and networking begin at 8 a.m. and the program is from 8:30-9:30 a.m. The cost is $6.

Participants will learn how to claim or register a business with location based services like Google, Yelp, Foursquare and TripAdvisor, about the importance of a mobile-friendly website and when, where and how to use QR codes and mobile apps.
