GMC Opens July Lease Deal for the Yukon 4WD Elevation for Under $900/Month

The 2026 GMC Yukon in a Nutshell

One would think that the GMC Yukon would have a tough time given that it's sandwiched between the already accomplished Chevrolet Tahoe and the luxurious Cadillac Escalade. Despite that, the Yukon still manages to carve out its own personality, neatly bridging its Cadillac and Chevrolet siblings.

The fifth-generation GMC Yukon was introduced in January 2020 for the 2021 model year. It was subsequently given a comprehensive facelift for 2025. So, for 2026, the updates stay minor, mainly involving the revision of some option packages.

2026 GMC Yukon Lease Deals for July

From what we've observed, the lease deals for the Yukon mainly revolved around one model. It's for the entry-level Elevation trim, more specifically, the one equipped with 4WD. We found an offer priced at $899 for 36 months, with a due-at-signing price of $9,969.

There's another offer with a lower monthly rate of $799 for 36 months, but the due at signing is much higher at $13,059. Per GMC, the $ 899-per-month deal is the nationwide offer, but it's worth checking the official website and entering your zip code to find a sweeter deal. Note that there is a mileage charge of $0.25 per mile over 30,000 miles or 10,000 miles per year. This offer is valid until August 3, 2026.

2026 GMC Yukon Highlights

Base prices for the standard-wheelbase 2026 GMC Yukon start at $69,600, all the way up to $103,900. Five trims are available, starting with the aforementioned Elevation, moving up to the off-road-oriented AT4 and AT4 Ultimate, and topped by the plusher Denali and Denali Ultimate.

The 2025 update gave the full-size SUV a redesigned front end and an overhauled interior to further differentiate it from the less expensive Chevy counterpart. Given that it's fresh off a comprehensive facelift, the 2026 model gets options package adjustments that no longer require ticking more expensive options first to avail.

Other than that, it's largely carried over from the prior year. As for standard features, all Yukons come with advanced driver assists, a power tailgate, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, a widescreen infotainment display, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Those equipped with four-wheel drive get a limited-slip differential.

For engines, it kicks off with the familiar 5.3-liter V8 with 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque for Elevation and AT4. The 6.2-liter V8 with 420 hp and 460 lb-ft is standard-fit in the Denali, AT4 Ultimate, and Denali Ultimate, and optional on the AT4. All can also be equipped with the 3.0-liter inline-six Duramax diesel engine producing 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque.

Final Thoughts

The Yukon could've easily fallen into the trap of being merely a rebadged Tahoe with little distinction, but in all fairness to GMC, it made an effort to differentiate it from its siblings. While there are subtle nuances behind the wheel among GM's full-size trio, the Yukon still manages to deliver a unique experience. Yes, it's expensive to buy and lease compared to the Chevy, but if your budget allows, it's worth the extra cost. It might even come off as better value if you spec it right.
