Fans of HomeGoods store have just a couple weeks to wait until a new location opens at The Crossroads shopping center in Gulfport.

After months of renovation, the grand opening of the store is set for Thursday, Nov. 6, at 15140 Crossroads Parkway., between Academy Sports and T.J. Maxx.

The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 10p.m. to give shoppers time to browse the selection of home decor to cozy their homes for fall and winter and to start their Christmas shopping.

The sister store to Marshalls and T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods is popular with those looking for furniture, bedding, kitchenware and holiday goods from around the country and world at lower prices than they find in other stores.

Before this, South Mississippi shoppers had to travel to stores at Hattiesburg, Mobile and Mandeville.

Recently opened in the same shopping complex is Nothing Bundt Cakes and other retail stores are open or on the way to South Mississippi.
