Turkey Day is almost here, so it’s time to stock up on your grocery items for Thanksgiving dinner because some stores will close early and some may not be open at all.

Here’s what to know:

Which businesses will be closed in Biloxi?

Banks, government offices, libraries and schools are all closed for the holiday. USPS, UPS and FedEx will also not run on the holiday.

Will stores carrying groceries be open?

Open stores include:

• Dollar General

• Walgreens and CVS will have adjusted hours, so check with your local stores. Pharmacies will still be open.

• Rouses Markets will be open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

Which grocery stores will be closed?

Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target and ALDI will all be closed for Thanksgiving.

What about liquor stores?

Most liquor stores will be open in Biloxi on Thanksgiving. However, some may close early, so it is best to call ahead to make sure.

Will retail shops be open?

Big Lots will stay open on Thanksgiving, but all other major retailers will be closed for the holiday and in preparation for Black Friday.
