New store comes to Gulfport & most everything is priced under $5. See what’s inside
Just in time for the final weeks of Christmas shopping, a new pOpshelf store is open in Gulfport — and most everything is priced at $5 or less.
The store is open daily from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. at Crossroads Parkway, which is the former Pier 1 location.
“Fun finds for less” are stocked in the seasonal and home décor departments, electronics, health and beauty, household cleaning supplies, arts and crafts, party supplies, toys, candy and more.
The first pOpshelf opened in Nashville, Tennessee in fall 2020, and the company now has more than 200 stores. It is a division of Dollar General and sells Dollar General brands and many other products.
“At pOpshelf, there’s fun in every find, happiness in the affordability and joy in stress-free shopping experience we offer, and we look forward to welcoming the community to our new store,” said Matt Frame, pOpshelf’s senior director of store operations.
The company serves it local communities by partnering with The Confetti Foundation to provide birthday parties to children spending their birthday in a hospital, pediatric oncology clinic or hospice facility.
