Former Scuttlebutt Gentleman’s Club building damaged in fire, Slidell officials say
The building that was once home to Scuttlebutt Gentlemen’s Club in Slidell, La., was damaged in a fire Sunday night, according to officials with St. Tammany Fire Protection District 1.
Firefighters were at the iconic pink establishment at 766 I-10 Service Road at around 7:30 p.m. The building is visible from Interstate 10 as many MS Coast residents drive to and from New Orleans.
The fire ignited in an out building behind the main facility and fire officials said in a Facebook post that they were able to quickly extinguish the flames, preventing the fire from spreading to the main building.
The fire’s cause is still under investigation, officials said.
