Tips for saving on hotel stays this spring break
Expand your hotel search
Most events are centered around Ocean Springs, Biloxi and Gulfport. If savings are more important than beach views or short walking distances to venues, consider looking in areas like Gautier or Moss Point. Remember to factor in the added time and possible expense of parking and the high traffic expected during spring break.
Call a travel agent
Agents have access to deals you won’t necessarily find by searching online.
Consider booking through a vacation rental
Popular vacation rental apps like Airbnb, VRBO and vacasa list options that are usually less than hotel chains and can be as small as the use of a single room or as grand as a private beach house.
