The first 3D-printed rocket was made in Mississippi. You can watch it launch into space.

The first entirely 3D-printed rocket was made in Mississippi and will soon blast off into space from Cape Canaveral in Florida.

Constructed at Stennis Space Center in Hancock County, Relativity Space’s Terran 1 will launch on March 8 from Launch Complex 16. The launch window will be between noon and 3 p.m. CST.

Nicknamed the “Good Luck, Have Fun,” the launch is the first for the Terran 1 rocket.

“Disrupting 60 years of aerospace, Relativity offers a radically simplified supply chain, building a rocket with 100x fewer parts in less than 60 days,” Relativity Space said in a release.

Relativity’s goal is to build the 18-wheelers of space. Customers will eventually be able to use the rockets to transport freight between Earth, the moon and Mars.
