What is the best flavor of Hubig’s pies? Vote now!

After 10 years of hoping, wishing and dreaming, the cheap yet delicious handheld pastry that is the Hubig’s pie is back in production.

The pies will cost $2.49 each and should soon be in stores across New Orleans, the state of Louisiana and (hopefully) the Mississippi Coast.

Hubig’s pies were $1.19 back in 2012 when they disappeared off store shelves following a fire at the facility where they were made. The desserts were available at grocery stores and gas stations across the Coast.

Apple and lemon flavors were sold outside of a NOLA festival over the weekend to the delight of residents, but Hubig’s pies owners told Nola.com more iconic flavors will be produced soon.

We want to hear from you: which Hubig’s pie flavor is the best? Take our survey now.
