Update: Columbia Sportswear debuts at Gulfport Outlets. Here are grand opening details
The grand opening of Columbia Sportswear’s newest factory store is Friday at Gulfport Premium Outlets.
The store is next to Levi’s on the north side of the outlets, facing Interstate 10, in Suite 245.
Columbia opens at 10 a.m. Friday and the first customers will receive a free tote bag with a $100 purchase. Grand opening specials will continue through the weekend.
Early Black Friday deals are on now with the lowest prices of the season in-store, said Andy Zaprzala, store manager. New deals of the week are featured on Gulfport Premium Outlets’ deals page.
The store will feature outlet prices on apparel, footwear and accessories for men, women and kids along with camping gear.
For 80 years, Columbia has developed apparel and products so their customers can enjoy outdoor activities — and look good doing it, Zaprzala says.
“Whatever the adventure, Columbia has you covered with apparel, footwear and gear that is tested tough, and will keep everyone in the family warm, dry, cool and protected all year-round,” said David Lawner, senior vice president of retail for Columbia Sportswear.
“In addition to the breathable sun safe styles that are perfect for the weather in Mississippi, we know that people are looking forward to adventures outside the state.,” Zaprzala said.
Layered jackets with extra-strong zippers are popular with skiers, and Columbia has breathable and sun safe styles designed for weather in warmer climates like South Mississippi.
